Shonen Jump Theme Park Offers Prince of Tennis Valentine's Day Chocolates
posted on by Bamboo Dong
Valentine's Day in Japan is celebrated by women giving chocolates to men. If the man in your life happens to be your favorite Prince of Tennis character, though, you can mark the occasion by just buying chocolate with his face on it.
Shonen Jump's theme park, J-World Tokyo, will be selling official Prince of Tennis Valentine's Day chocolates from February 1 to 15. There will be 11 chocolates available, featuring Ryoma Echizen, Shusuke Fuji, Keigo Atobe, Seiichi Yukimura, Renji Yanagi, Masaharu Nio, Bunta Marui, Kuranosuke Shiraishi, Kenya Oshitari, Hikaru Zaizen, and Ryoga Echizen. Each one is selling for 602 yen (about US$5.11), with a limit of three of each character per customer.
Incidentally, Jump Square recently announced that it would no longer accept chocolates for its yearly Prince of Tennis Valentine's popularity poll, after receiving hundreds of thousands of chocolates just for its top ten characters.
