While Tokyo Game Show 2015 was the place to go to for tons on Japanese gaming news and announcements, it also set the stage for cosplay enthusiasts to strut their stuff as their favorite game characters. One cosplayer, however, took her project to new heights as she portrayed the cybernetic ninja of Metal Gear fame.
Masazi, a model known for her dedication to cosplay, appeared on the show floor as Raiden from the Metal Gear Solid franchise, as he appears in its fourth installment Guns of the Patriots. With the cybernetic suit already a sight to behold, the real centerpiece of this costume came from its mechanical visor gimmick.

The cosplay even caught the attention of the official Metal Gear Online twitter.
The gimmick was developed by Gami, known also for their cosplay.
In an interview, Masazi expressed her desire to bring a little innovation to cosplay, inspired by her work as Akane Tsunemori from Psycho-Pass in showing off a fully-functional Dominator.
"Movable cosplay is still something really new," she remarked. "I wanted to portray something challenging in that respect."
Gami, also interviewed, commented on the suit's production.
"By the time of TGS, it was only about 70 percent complete," Gami admitted. "It took about three months to get to that point."
"I'm incredibly grateful that everyone liked it," Masazi said. "I hope this will inspire other people to try out cosplay."
