posted on by Jennifer Sherman
Singer May'n appeared as a special guest on the 64th episode of the CAPCOM TV! web program on Wednesday. In the video, she plays two matches in the upcoming Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers Nintendo Switch game.
May'n plays as Ryu to take on the program's assistant Chocolat Ikeda playing as Blanka around the 26:15 mark. Other people on the program also face off against each other. For her second battle, May'n plays as Chun-Li to take on the guest "Guile Eshiro," who is playing as Guile at around the 36:23 mark. Although the singer is easily defeated in her first match, she comes out victorious against Guile. "Guile Eshiro" is actually Motohide Eshiro, producer of the upcoming Dai Gyakuten Saiban 2: Naruhodō Ryūnosuke no Kakugo game, which will ship for the Nintendo 3DS on August 3.
Ultra Street Fighter II: The Final Challengers will launch worldwide on May 26. The game is part of CAPCOM's Street Fighter series' 30th anniversary celebration. CAPCOM began streaming the game's second trailer in April:
Illinois' Anime Central convention hosted May'n last weekend. She released a greeting video in English for the convention's attendees in April.
