Fuji TV President Steps Down in June

The Fuji TV network announced on May 9 that president Chihiro Kameyama will step down from his position in June. Masaki Miyauchi, the head of BS Fuji, the network's cable, satellite, and internet broadcaster, will fill the position. CEO Hisashi Hieda announced his resignation the following day.
Kameyama produced live-action dramas and films, as well as anime. He produced the Bayside Shakedown (Odoru Daisōsasen) live-action series and films, and the Bayside Shakedown 2 film holds the highest domestic gross for a Japanese live-action film. He served as producer on such anime as Touch, Hiatari Ryoko, Afro Samurai, Oblivion Island: Haruka and the Magic Mirror, Colorful, One Piece Film Z, and Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods.
Miyauchi joined Fuji TV in 1967. He became president of affiliate Okayama Broadcasting in 2007, and the president of BS Fuji in 2015.
