Dentsu Collaborates With 9 Anime Studios to Produce Promotional Animation Content

Advertising company Dentsu announced on Monday that it has formed the new cross-group organization Dentsu Japanimation Studio (DJS), which will cooperate with and coordinate with nine animation studios with the objective of increasing the appeal of goods and services with original video content. The new group will coordinate with Sunrise, Bandai Namco Pictures, Production I.G, MAPPA, Pierrot, Studio Colorido, david production, LIDEN FILMS, and The Answer Studio Co., Ltd.
The group will aim to produce promotional animation, and to make it easier for specialists in the company to coordinate and compile knowledge. The announcement noted that orders from foreign companies to use Japanese animation for marketing purposes have increased in recent years.
