Custom Robo Creator's Synaptic Drive Shooting Game Begins Development

The official Twitter account for the 3D shooting game Synaptic Drive revealed on December 20 that a publisher for the game has been decided, and development has officially started. The game is slated to launch for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam in 2019.
Developer Thousand Games announced the game and unveiled a prototype video at Tokyo Game Show in September. Custom Robo game creator Kōji Kenjō is helming the project.

The original Custom Robo game launched for Nintendo 64 in Japan in 1999. The most recent game in the series, Gekitō! Custom Robo (Rumble! Custom Robo), launched for Nintendo DS in Japan in 2006 and in the West in 2007.
