Former Manga Creator Arrested for Allegedly Posting Child Pornography via TOR

The Kyoto Prefectural Police arrested former manga creator Tarō Ichikura in Tokyo on Wednesday on suspicion of posting child pornography by using the anonymous communication software TOR.
Ichikura (51) had allegedly posted four images of a young girl between May 16 and July 8. According to police, Ichikura used TOR to open a website for child pornography that used a membership system in February 2018. As of February 2019, the site had around 2,000 accounts. Police suspect that Ichikura had posted over 20,000 images of child pornography on this website, and they are investigating the matter.
Ichikura has supposedly admitted to the charges.
Ichikura's pen name as a manga creator was was Ichirō Kurata, according to Kansai TV. Kurata wrote the adult manga Amahada Shōjo, which launched in 2004.
